With the theme "Gazing Out: Locating Asia in the Philippine Political Worldview", the Philippine Political Science Association (PPSA) will hold its 52nd annual international conference on 10-11 April 2014 at the Graduate and Continuing Building (GCEB), UPV Iloilo City Campus . This year’s theme will explore and interrogate how the Philippines looks upon Asia and attempt to examine the lessons that can be learned in terms of how Asia has managed to overcome the challenges of economic crises, terrorism, democracy, human rights, and disaster. The PPSA is the country’s foremost group of Political Science scholars and academics.
