SoTech faculty lecture on various topics

As part of their annual founding anniversary, the School of Technology would normally have a technical presentation of the research endeavors of their students, or invite a noted lecturer to talk on updates related to food technology or environmental studies. This year, it opted to tap its own faculty members to present four technical papers/lectures. The papers and the speakers are as follows:
- Potential Use of Earthworms for Cellulosic Ethanol Production – by Prof. Marilou J. Ang-Lopez
- Production of Propionic Acid by Extractive Fermentation – Dr. Lucita C. De Guzman
- Pollution and Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Area and Staionary Sources – Dr. Jose Ali F. Bedaño
- The Concept of Food Defense Under the Food Modernization Act – Prof. Emeliza C. Lozada
The event was held on February 15, 2013 at AV 107, Pidlaoan Hall, UP Visayas, Miagao campus.
