About SOTECH

The School of Technology (SOTECH), formerly known as the School of Technology and Environmental Resources (STER), was established in 1984 by the UP Board of Regents with a mandate of providing highly trained manpower, generate and transfer appropriate environment-friendly technologies, and assist in regional and national development.

Currently, it offers BS Food Technology (4 years) and BS Chemical Engineering (5 yrs). The School also conducts researches and offers training on food processing/preservation, food safety, environmental and resources management and geographic information system.
