About CFOS

As UPV's flagship college, the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences is the recognized leader in fisheries and marine science education in the entire country. CHED affirmed this status when it named CFOS as the Center of Excellence in Fisheries Education in 1998 and Center of Development in Marine Science in 1998 and in 2006. The College’s four institutes consequentially respond with programs that meet the dynamic needs of the fisheries sector.
